Join us Wednesday, April 26 at Taliesin West for a special talk about the apprentice shelters of Taliesin West. Fred Prozzillo, Vice President of Preservation and Collections, will share his unique insights into the process of conceiving and building a shelter while an apprentice at the Frank Lloyd School of Architecture. His talk will explore the tradition of apprentices living in the desert at Taliesin West, from sheepherders’ tent to basic self-constructed shelter. Mr. Prozzillo will explore the process of building his shelter and present several iconic shelters from the past decades.

Time: 5:30 – 7 p.m.
